Uses

Magnesium Hydroxide Powder comes in many different products and has many different uses. Uncoated and Stearate Coated grades of the powder are used for thermoplastic olefin roofing, plastic lumber, and wire and cable. Other grades are useful for ceramics, lubricating oils, and other specialty chemical applications. A special Magnesium Hydroxide Powder product is recommended for water treatment as a pH adjustment, alkalinity addition, acid neutralization, heavy metal precipitation, and the stabilization of heavy metals.
